The College of Education surprised three local alumni educators with a check for $1,000 to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. WUSA9 spoke with Vassiliki Key, social studies teacher at Shady Grove Middle School, about the surprise visit, which included balloons, Testudo, Dean Kimberly Griffin and several faculty and staff.
